Defibrillator (Golf Shop)

We are pleased to announce the installation of an additional defibrillator. The Club’s third ‘external’ defibrillator is located on the south wall of the Golf Shop, along the alley towards the rear of the shop (near the entrance to the buggy store). It is  visible from the first tee. 

This AED (Automated External Defibrillator) complements the existing units located on the coaching hut and the one installed on the amenities block at the tenth hole adjacent to the 11th tee.  

The defibrillator is a crucial piece of life-saving equipment designed to assist in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest. While we hope they will not be needed, having these devices readily available can make a significant difference in an emergency.

In the event of an emergency:

1. Immediately call an ambulance by dialling 000. This is the first and most important step.
2. If necessary, retrieve the defibrillator from the wall of the amenities block.
3. Follow the voice prompts provided by the defibrillator to administer aid until emergency services arrive.

The device is straightforward to use and is equipped with voice instructions to guide you through the process. However, we encourage all members to familiarise themselves with its location and operation.
