Women’s Invitational Challenge 2019

Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th August saw the hosting of one of the premier events on the women’s golf program here at Barwon Heads: The 2019 Women’s Invitational Challenge.

Eighteen reciprocal and associated clubs competed for the coveted trophy and it was wonderful to welcome players from as far afield as Royal Selangor GC (Malaysia).

It had been pretty chilly out on the course so professional, Marcus Hakkinen, did his best to warm up the participants after dinner with a rousing edition of ‘Ring of Fire’.
