The Club’s iconic 100-year-old, heritage-listed Clubhouse is currently closed for a $20 million renovation and restoration. Scheduled to reopen in September 2025, the revitalised Clubhouse will continue to offer its renowned charm and hospitality, including the full refurbishment of accommodation on the upper level. (Guests with existing annual bookings will be kept informed and provided with reopening details as they become available)

Accommodation in the Clubhouse
Travelers have been making use of the accommodation facilities within the iconic Barwon Heads Clubhouse since 1924.
There are 19 ensuite rooms available for those visiting Barwon Heads seeking a traditional, service-oriented experience.
The accommodation rates vary according to the type of room and the package chosen.
Accommodation tariffs include Wi-Fi in all rooms, use of the Club’s tennis courts and billiards room and access to the driving range, short-game practice area and complimentary use of the Club’s Par-3 course.
Our Stay and Play Full Board Package
The ideal way to partake in one of Australia’s best golf experiences, as staying overnight on this package guarantees tee times for an included round of golf on most days of the year.
Rate is per person per night. Includes a three course a la carte dinner, overnight accommodation, breakfast, one18 hole round of golf, and lunch prior to departure.

Bed & Breakfast Package
The bed and breakfast rate is per room per night (max. two guests) and includes overnight accommodation and breakfast the following morning.
(Breakfast comprises of a continental selection, juice and your order taken from the à la carte menu, and an espresso coffee or tea if you prefer)

Accommodation Booking Policies
- Tariffs: Subject to change.
- Cancellations:
- Free cancellation up to seven days prior to the arrival date.
- Within seven days: $50 per person per night.
- Same-day cancellations or no-shows: Full tariff applies.
- Payment: Unless there are special circumstances, your booking will be charged to the card number supplied seven days prior to your stay. Accounts for sundry charges during your stay are to be settled on departure.
- Special rates: At certain times of the year the Club may offer special rates for new bookings. Click here to view the selection.
- Groups: The Club specialises in bespoke experiences for small golf groups. Your enquiry is welcomed.

House Guest Tee Times
Tee times for house guests on the full board package can be reserved at least eight days prior and are confirmed at the time of making their accommodation booking.
- Daily allocation: Usually between 8:00am and 10:00am for house guests.
- Tuesday restrictions: Tee times must be before 8:00am or after 1:00pm.
* Peak includes weekends, public holidays and from 26 December to the Australia Day long weekend, when main course access for anyone not staying in the Clubhouse is usually unavailable or extremely limited.
