Greens Reconstruction and Fairway Work – late 2016

Prior to making a green fee or stay and play booking, guests should be aware that reconstruction of the 2nd and 5th greens commenced in early September. The works include:

• Replacing the subsurface profile and surrounds
• Enlarging the left side of the 5th green and slightly softening the general slope of the green
• Re-laying the existing turf of the two greens
• Replacing the green surrounds turf
• Reconstructing greenside bunkers of the 2nd and 5th
• Reconstructing the approach bunker on the 5th
• Constructing new fairway bunker left side of the 5th fairway

During the reconstruction works, a temporary 2nd green will be in play approximately 40 metres short of the 2nd green and a temporary 5th green will be 78m metres short of the 5th green and played as a par 4. The two new greens will return to play late October. Work is also underway on the 12th and 14th fairway bunkers.
