Overview

Dining

As a private Club, the dining facilities in the Clubhouse are only open to members, their guests, house guests and those invited to attend specific events and functions. Tables, particularly for lunch in the Links Room and dinner in the Western Dining Room, can only be guaranteed when a booking has been made. These should be booked at least 48 hours prior.

After signing in as visitors, suitably attired green fee players are also invited into the Clubhouse to dine either before or after their round. Non-member green fee players should use this green fee booking form to enquire about dining.

The Club is renowned for upholding golfing traditions but it takes a more modern approach to dining. The kitchen’s focus is on quality and consistency, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

The Club offers several dining options.

Morning cafe: The refurbished Learmonth Room (lower level) is the place to sit and plan your round, relax, read the papers, see who is on the timesheet and enjoy a coffee and snack. Take your buggy up the ramp and come in for a chat with staff or your fellow members. Takeaway coffee and sandwiches are also available either from the inside counter or the takeaway window on the eastern side of the Clubhouse. If a small flag is flying adjacent to the takeaway window, the Learmonth Room is staffed. Food and beverage service in this room finishes at midday.

Breakfast for members, their guests, green fee players and house guests is usually served daily in the Links Room from 7.00am to 9.30am. House guest reservations are made automatically; it is appreciated if members book beforehand.

Lunch is served in the Links Room from 11.30am to 3.00pm. In addition to the lunch / specials menu below, many snack items and toasted sandwiches are also available. Table service is provided to house guests and members with pre-reserved tables. Walk-ins and after-golf diners are asked to order at the bar.

Dinner: Unless a pre-organised function is taking place, or the size of your group exceeds capacity, almost all evening dining takes place in the Western Dining Room where a premium a la carte menu is offered. Tables for house guests are automatically booked, for others advance bookings are essential. NB: Your booked time is when you are expected to be seated. Please arrive earlier for pre-dinner drinks.

Should you be in your golf attire or desire a more casual setting, a supper menu is also available in the Links Room. No bookings, tables subject to availability.

Member’s Lounge: A small range of bar snacks is available to compliment the drinks menu. Seated/set dining does not occur in this room.

To facilitate the best possible experience, diners who have special dietary requirements are asked to advise the Club well in advance before their visit. Please call 5255 6255 to reserve your table.

Wine

The drinks list includes a strong representation of the best wines produced in the Greater Geelong and Bellarine region along with a curated selection of iconic and upcoming premium producers from other renowned regions. The wines can be viewed visually in the Wine Wall, a temperature-controlled display between the Western Dining Room and the Links Room. The drinks list also includes an impressive range of whiskies.
