CLUB FOURSOMES CHAMPIONSHIPS

Please register for the Club Foursomes Championships before entries close on 27 July 2025. You can play your qualifying round on either Tuesday 5 August or Sunday 10 August.

Greetings from the Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society

Welcome Ed

The Golf Shop team welcomes Ed, who joins us for part of the year while home from college.

Now 19, Ed is based in Ceres, just outside Geelong, and divides his time between Australia and California, where he is studying Business Law at College of the Canyons. He also represents the college as a member of its golf team.

Ed completed his secondary education at Geelong College and spent Year 9 at Timbertop through Geelong Grammar — a formative year that left a lasting impression. A former competitive tennis player and lifelong Sydney Swans supporter, Ed took up golf in Year 10 and hasn’t looked back.

We’re pleased to have Ed on board and know members will enjoy getting to know him in the Golf Shop.

Ed’s appointment marks a shift in Club practice, which has traditionally precluded members from employment. Under a new trial arrangement supporting short-term roles for members pursuing relevant vocational interests, we are pleased to welcome Ed to the Golf Shop team during his break from US college golf commitments. His engagement reflects the Club’s commitment to fostering career development in the golf industry while upholding professional standards.
