I'm thrilled to be joining the Barwon Heads Golf Club community!

I'm a Barwon Heads local, currently living at University College in Melbourne while completing a double degree in Accounting and Commerce at RMIT. Since returning from my gap year in London, I’ve dusted off my dad’s golf clubs and started playing a few rounds myself. I’m keen to keep improving my game—though at times it feels like I’m going backwards rather than forwards!

Following most sports, I’m always up for a chat—whether it’s about Oscar Piastri’s performance on the track, the Denver Broncos' brilliance last Sunday, or why Bailey Smith is going to win the Brownlow.

craig bonney golf clinic - flexible, small group sessions.

Craig’s clinics were so popular last month, we’ve added another series.

Each 60-minute session focuses on a different skill, designed to help sharpen your game. Open to male and female members, with a maximum of six participants (minimum of four for each clinic to proceed).

Choose the sessions that suit you best — attend just one, or sign up for all five. The flexible format means you can tailor your participation to your schedule and areas of interest. 

Cost: $40 per person, per session

Location: The Barwon Heads Golf Club

Time: Wednesdays at 10.00am

As we head into winter, preparation is key to maintaining your performance in changing conditions.

We stock waterproof jackets and bags, rain gloves, beanies and more to help keep you and your equipment warm and dry.

Now is also a good time to check your grips—worn or slippery grips can cost you strokes. Speak to the team about getting your clubs regripped.

Hours of Operation

The marquee closing time varies slightly depending on demand, with staff rosters aligned to the golf timesheets. (The aim is that the majority of golfers finishing their round still have the opportunity to enjoy a refreshment afterwards.)

On quieter afternoons or when poor weather impacts golf, the marquee may close a little earlier than usual.
