WOmen's Div.1 Pennant Win
On a blustery, cold, wet and squally Sunday morning, the Women’s Division 1 SWGA Pennant team showed their expertise in handling the wintery links style conditions for an historic 5-2 win over the strong Torquay team.

It's time to say au revoir autumn with something warming in readiness for the chill of winter.
Nuits-Saint-Georges is a town in France famous for pinot noir but it's also home to Vendrenne, a distiller of craft liqueurs. Anton will use a mandarin liqueur made by Vendrenne in a feature cocktail this Friday evening. Expect a mix that highlights the distinctive flavour of mandarin with a hint of zesty bitterness.
If a bottle of Pinot is more your thing, choose from a range of affordable and delightful Australian Pinots including 'Mania' a new listing from Tasmania. It's no Burgundy but it's bright and lifted, with raspberry and dark cherry fruit flavours with subtle cedar spice and cool-climate minerality. Delicious!
Bookings for drinks are not required.

In January 1966 Geelong Grammar student David Manton headed to the Gordonstoun School, Scotland, on a rather unique student exchange – unique because the student he was swapping with was Prince (now King) Charles.
The two-term Geelong Grammar alumni's recent ascent to the crown will result in the first King's Birthday public holiday in Australia since 1951.
