Message from Malcolm Condie, on behalf of The Geelong ClubMalcolm Condie from The Geelong Club has let us know that the Club is delighted to continue strengthening its partnership with Barwon Heads members. It has been encouraging to see both the increasing use of their facilities and the growing interest in Geelong Club memberships. Barwon Heads members are welcome to enjoy billiards and snooker at The Geelong Club on any day or evening, except during scheduled events. Thursday evenings have been specifically reserved for our group, and where possible, a Geelong Club Committee Member will be in attendance. Should other Geelong Club members wish to join on these evenings, they will notify us in advance. When using the bar, please record any purchases on the chit sheet unless a staff member is present to serve you. The Treasurer will later issue invoices based on these records. We are warmly invited to participate in the Geelong Club’s annual Billiards and Snooker Competition, which will run from late June through to September. Those wishing to enter are asked to submit names for registration. Club President Glenn King will be away from 22 May to 20 June. During this time, Vice President Malcolm Condie will assume presidential duties and may be contacted on 0407 034 410.
