Sunday 22 March 2020

Dear members, guests and staff,

Following the email sent on Wednesday 18th March regarding coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to provide you with a further update on how the Club is responding.

The following will be implemented at the Club from Monday 23rd March:

  • Members and House Guests only permitted in the clubhouse. (Members' guests and green fee players will not be permitted in clubhouse)
  • Accommodation to close after House Guests check out on Saturday 28th March.
  • Clubhouse open 7am-9pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner. These opening times will be revised weekly or as updated government restrictions become enforced.
  • The Club is complying with the government's social distancing rules and signs are in place stating maximum limits for each room.

  • Golf course open as normal
  • Pro Shop open as normal
  • Medical carts only. Not to be shared.
  • Members' guests, house guests and green fees players can access the golf course as per normal.
  • 10 min tee time intervals - from Mon 30 March.

What can You Do?

Even with all these changes, the greatest responsibility for the health of all members, guests and staff is with you.

  • If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, you must not attend the Club. You must immediately also inform the General Manager, Anthony Masters, via email or phone 0421 047 177 and disclose the other members with whom you have been in contact for fourteen days before the diagnosis.

  • If you have returned from overseas on or from midnight on 15 March 2020, you must self-isolate for fourteen days and not attend the Club.

  • If you have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19, you should immediately seek medical advice, self-isolate for fourteen days and not attend the Club.

  • If you feel the slightest illness or have any flu like symptoms, you must not attend the Club. Please monitor your health and take professional advice.

  • Those members who are at most risk (the elderly and those with chronic medical conditions) should seriously consider whether they should attend the Club.

  • Wash your hands regularly while at the Club, at least when you arrive, after golf and when you leave.

  • All of the above apply to any guests that you bring to the play golf- you should therefore exercise caution as to the guests you introduce, i.e. that you are sure that they are not contravening any of these protocols.

  • Guests and non-members coming to play golf must provide their contact details to the pro shop.

What's Next...

As a rapidly developing issue, we will be monitoring the situation on a daily basis.

As with the Club's staff, we ask members and visitors who have any cold or fever symptoms to stay away from the Club until their medical condition has been resolved. Staff are doing all they can to keep you safe and they ask the same of you.

If you have any questions in relation to these matters, please do not hesitate to contact us.
