Working bee

The first Members' working bee for 2019 took place on Monday 29th April. The group removed pest plant species behind the first green, left of the second tee - one of the offset areas that have allowed the Club to implement changes to the course under the course development plan.

If you'd like to join the group or seek additional information, please contact Graeme Swinton. The group meets on the last Monday of the month between April and October

rules

Captain Frank's Rules Reminders

As of 2019, hitting the flagstick when putting a ball from the green is without penalty. The intention of the Rule change is to speed up play. But it raises the question - which way of handling the flagstick is best: leaving it in, or removing it prior to putting? This video may help you decide for yourself - and it could even help you hole more putts.

Frank Webb, Captain.

We're proud to report that reviews from recent house guests have never been better. Most feedback is received via an online survey, but some guests also make their comments public on sites such as Google and TripAdvisor. This one sums up the general feedback well:

If you are considering a conference, celebration or organising a stay and play group, please call reception or make an enquiry via this form.

Friday morning open bridge continues with good support and of course additional players are always welcome. And while First Friday Evening bridge is now in recess until spring, convivial bridge is played each Saturday afternoon starting at 2.00pm. Please see the bridge page on the website for more details and contacts.
