The Clubhouse has been welcoming discerning golfers since 1924 and has been the preferred venue for many group golf trips since. Exemplifying the Club's traditional values, there's one regular group that first visited Barwon Heads 60 years ago.  Click the image below to read more.

Christmas GIFTS

Stay & play gift vouchers for friends, colleagues or corporate gifts can be ordered by calling reception on 03 5255 6255. Accommodation vouchers 'to the value of' can be mailed to you or, time permitting, directly to the recipient. An overnight stay in the heritage-listed Clubhouse is one of Australia's premier golf experiences.

Summer

Summer holidays are being planned and accommodation in Barwon Heads is being booked at a rapid pace.

And why not? In addition to golf, the river, beaches, sunset drinks and nature walks, there are several events being held around Barwon Heads this summer. They include: Golf Victoria's Junior Vic Open (to be held at the Club), NYE village fireworks, Circus Wonderland at the Spiegeltent, the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, Geelong Yacht Club's Festival of Sails and the Victorian Open at 13th Beach. The Clubhouse is already fully booked for some of these events so please enquire as soon as possible if you're planning a break in Barwon Heads over summer.

2019 - Autumn - Stay & pLay... or just stay.

Peak season autumn accommodation bookings for 2019 are already filling quickly, but there are still rooms available over the Easter long weekend (Fri 19th to Sunday 21st April) and several days around Mother's Day (Fri 10th to Tues 14th May).

If you're looking for an autumn weekend getaway, consider The Barwon Heads Golf Club. Even though your surrounds will tempt you to play golf (see the video link below) you don't have to when you stay in the Clubhouse - a B&B only option is also available.

2019 - winter

Winter 2019.  Yes, we've only just come to the end of a long winter but as we keep emails to a minimum it's worth letting you know our Winter Escape promotion will return for 2019.

Complimentary green fees (usually $95) for up to two people when you stay on a bed and breakfast package between Sunday and Thursday (subject to availability.)
